他的家人痛哭流涕地呼喚著他的名字
"

這時經過的路人,看到這情景 於是問.....' 你們爽什麼呢?
阿爽的家人頓時泣不成聲 ....

BOMBS :)

Dont get me wrong folks. These are the "happy" bombs :)

This post is just a reminder to me on the weddings I have to attend for the rest of the year. The first one is coming up next Saturday. I have 14 in total...phew! But I am happy for all my friends who are tying the knot. People tell me "wah, alot of ang pow money wasted o". But I dont think that way at all. Each is a happy occassion which I look forward to sharing with my friends:)
So heres a big congratulations to ALL of them! I will try my best to attend all unless there is a clash....rest assured!

22.09.07 - Jia Wan (Tai Thong, Wisma Djaya Puchong) - This guy was the honor of being the very FIRST guy who spoke to me on my first day in secondary school. I still remember those words clearly "喂,会讲话语吗?"..haha...back in 1 Kapur, SMDJ, 1992. Time flies. Have been hugely influenced by this guy. Looked up to him alot back then. One of my more artisticly inclined friends. Introduced me to the Chinese Society as well as music composing and guitar. And of course, my mahjong nemesis! "打沉家万!" has always been a familiar war-cry at Jacks in Mayang where we played for 2 whole years! Has toned down ever since his engagement. Well hope he quits smoking too la :)

22.09.07 - Willy (Westin) - Long time regular at Wow Wow and then Stream where I sing. Sorry mate, have to skip yours cos of prior agreement to attend my mate's wedding above. But really happy for you guys and my angpow will definitely be there! Owe u guys a song!

29.09.07 - Andy Moong (Smokehouse, Ampang) - This is one of my RAMINian kaki. A knowledge freak. Seems to know (or least shows some imterest to know) every damn thing under the sun. Avid sports fan too. Basketball and Football freak. But bad choice in supporting Arsenal:P Anyway am really happy for this dude here. At last, he has taken that next step :) How long has it been...7-8 years with Corra? All the best to you couple. Oh and is it that hard to smile in your wedding photos? haha...learn from your wife la...those interested can check the couple's ROM Photos here or check out their "official wedding website" for news and pics.

01.10.07 - Ah Seng aka Jack (Tai Thong, Tropicana) - "Hai" Seng...funny...havent actually known this guy for too long....was it 2 years? Anyway small world. We share some mutual friends, but didnt really mix up till the "Golden Mahjong Era" 2 years ago. He, along with Jia Wan, Chee Siong, Alex, Yung Sheng and Boon Yeaw were in our regular mahjong "pool". This guy and me, we play similar style of Mahjong called the "blind style" - 盲拳 - haha and boy was it really fun! Got to know his wife Kimi then as well. How things changed. Since then he has teamed up with Chee Siong to set up their car wash business at Shell in Kayu Ara. And has changed job and now is a supervisor haha. And yes you guys saw the date right - its a MONDAY - dont ask me why...:P

06.10.07 - Yun Feng (Tai Thong, Tropicana) An old Yuk Chai 6B faithful. Quiet little girl but really one of our strongest supporters (ie 6B activities). Have been present at almost all of our recent reunions. I donno how you guys feel, but I always feel a sense of innocence when I am around my primary classmates. Reminds me of classes back then, the joy and fun w eshared. Seeing them getting married and starting their new family really warms my heart. All the best to YF and her hubby...

13.10.07 - Yih Chwin (Palace of Golden Horses) Special mention must be made to my faithful Fan Club Vice President. Although she did not deliver her promie to get young Japanese females to join my fan club when she was in Sydney, she showed that she still had faith in my singing - she invited me to sing one song at her wedding. Haha I have sang at numerous weddings prior to this, but I feel extra excited bout this even though its only for one song. And the song she wanted me to sing is the song Beh used to propose to her. Wow, talk about pressure! Haha. But hey, Yih Chwin has been a faithful and close friend, as with most of the RAMINian gang. Its really comforting to know that our friendship lasted so long:) I will perform to my best ability and hopefully she and Beh will like it. Happy together you guys!

21.10.07 Ee Hui - (Tai Thong, Subang) - Like Yun Feng, this young piano teacher is also a faithful 6B mate. Still remember her mom's shop where we all went to makan after our Bukit Tinggi 6B paint ball trip. Hope she can cook like that for her husband..hehe...doubt so...muahahhaha.....but hey, all the best there k....hope you will still come to our gatherings after marriage :)

11.11.07 - Chin Hui (Bukit Jalil Golf Club, KL - Lunch) One of the ex-singers at Wow Wow. Surprised at the invite, cos none of us knew she had a boyfriend haha. This is one hell of a good singer. And a dedicated one too. Knows all the latest songs, and learns them before performance. Alot of younger singers should learn from her :) Am looking forward to meet up with other ex Wow Wow singers as well!

11.11.07 - Fern Fern (KL Hilton) - This is the RAMIN "class flower"! So many hearts will be broken....haha..yes guys, no more chance lo...haha.....but don worry, she is in good hands. John will take good care of her I m sure :) This pretty lass is one smart gal. REAL smart. And also one hell of a party and fashion goer. She knows ALL the best places to dine and wine and party! haha. Wonder if she will continue to do so after settling down? My bet is she will still be the same :) Oh, am looking forward to her wedding la....she says it will not be a conventional one....no 主家席 even....suppose to be fushion and "freestyle"..wonder how thats like? hmm....well, to see pics of this lenglui, check out her wedding blog

17.11.07 - Edmund aka Akuma (Federal Hotel, KL) Ah, the Devil. hehe thats his name alright (Akuma is Devil in Japanese). One of the last surviving members of our Hentai Gang. Also one of the last surviving few of our original Taman Megah FC football team. Eh bloody bugger, don go cari F anymore la...I will do that for u! hehe...cheers!

24.11.07 - Khai Siung aka Bear (? Lunch) This is one hamsap and dirty fella. Haha I always thought on the day he settled down, we would all see a mature and decent lad. But heck we were all wrong. He is still his usual hentai and crazy self. And best of all, his wife loves it! Haha kinky stuff. But seriously, am glad that this bear has found someone who can tolerate him and love him as he is. Dont get me wrong, not that he is a bad guy or anything. Just that if you know him, you will know that he is really CRAZY at times :) haha...his Level 10 will frigten even the strongest of men. But he does have a sentimental side to him. Check out his love story in his own words here :) Good luck there mate, and stay wild!

28.12.07 - May Jane and Edmond (Renaissance Hotel, KL) Jane was one of me chambie mates at RDL. Time flies...it has been a year since she shocked us - by leaving a lucrative job here in Malaysia as an IP consultant and going to Australia to start afresh - by taking a cooking / bakery course! To fulfil her dreams, she say. Wow, salute her for the courage! Most of us have dreams and thoughts, but how many of us are willing to sacrifice everything and take the next step? I for one may not be able to do that....respect you, Jane! Same goes to Ed, the support you are giving Jane by leaving your job here as a lawyer and goingover there to accompany your wife....now thats love! Heres to you both!

29.12.07 - Siham and Ah Soo - (Holiday Villa, Subang) Ok his name s not "siham"..wait it is! haha This is one very good fren from 6B also (yes if you notice, alot of them getting tied this year...bout time...). A great guitarist. Pity never plays anymore. This couple is the longest I have known - they have been together since form 3 i think...that would be 12 years! So siham, you owe this to ah soo! Oh and this guy is a great impersonator of Stephen Chow,...haha cracks me up! Wonder whether he will be like that for his marriage? cant wait! Ah Sum, don kacau k...

30.12.07 - Tze Chiah (Berjaya Times Square Hotel, KL) Mr Napolean (his MSN nick) is one of the 6B kakis that I had always been close with. One of my early badminton kaki. An all round Mr. Nice Guy, this is one shy and cheerful guy. Took us soooo long to "force" him to introduce his wife to us. Donno why hmm. But knowing this guy, he will be a very good husband and father. Heres to another generation of cheerful shy guys! :)

16.02.08 - Pei Sing and Kenneth (Berjaya Time Square Hotel, KL) What can I say bout Pei Sing. Really old frens. She is in BOTH my 2 closest gang - 6B as well as RAMIN. Faithful of both as well. The half twin of Mama Lee haha. They looked so alike. Underneath this small petite body lies a great soul and personality. Helpful, cheerful, loyal friend. I am really happy for her. Now her dreams to become Siu Lai Lai is moving one step closer :) Kenneth, treat her well k!

Ok thats 15 in total. Got to start saving now:P To all my friends, CONGRATULATIONS!

School holidays..miss those...

Thought I was gonna be late for work today when I woke up late...yeah another late night yamcha after singign yesterday...with cookie and cat and sakamoto as well.

Anyway left home at around 820am and guess what, traffic was good! Not super-smooth, but hey, at least its moving at a faster rate :) Then remembered that the school holiday has started...those lucky kids....must be off somewhere at some exotic islands with their parents.....no worries in the world at all (except perhaps how to finish the holiday homewrok) and enjoying themselves. How I miss those days! I remember when i was schooling, my parents would bring us off during the school holidays. Especially during the year end break where we had 3 weeks off. I remember one particular year where the 6 of us headed of on a Peninsular Malaysia trip in 2 weeks. Wentto Kedah, Ipoh, Langkawi, Penang, Kelantan, Teregganu, Pahang...wow that was real fun! Miss that trip alot!

Come to think of it, my "holidays" now are usually reserved for naps....hm wat a waste....

Perhaps should organise another family trip soon...that is if i can get everyone together (trust me, tough task!)

August 18

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Its been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong while since my last post......haha hope I can finish this entry....the reason for the non-updating of this blog is due more to my laziness than anything else.....just didnt have the "mood" and energy to stay up and write anymore.....

Anyway so many things have happened since my last entry...this post will try to capture whatever I can remember...here goes...

1) Mama Lee is pregnant! Yes, my dear friend shocked us all with this happy news back in March and all of us were so happy for her. Its her first step in fulfilling her "tai-tai" dreams. U know la, how can you be a tai-tai when you dont have a spoilt kid to worry about? hehe i jokingly offered to teach her kid singing and music if its a boy, and soccer if its a gal. Yes soccer! I dont think we have a pro female footballer in Malaysia yet (and not for the foreseeable future) so I think there is a market there to exploit hmmm...anyway funny to see Mama with a tummy...haha...

oh ya, just remembere she told me 2 weeks ago that its a gal! So the soccer plan is on!

2) At last, our SMC aka Mount Wah members (or at least some of us) managed to go for a trip this year! And for the first time its not in Malaysia! Wohoo! Hey, we went to Bali ok, not Thailand or Singapore! haha. Its been a while since we had a trip. I still remember our Genting and PD trips a few years back. This time, me, mk couple, joo couple, fung kong and oyster were joined by 3 frens of Li Ping ie winnie, ling ling and jia li. oh ya, mk's mom in law as well. dont ask me why haha but it was quite fun la the trip......argh go view my photos....suffice it to say that all of us enjoyed ourselves ALOT! Those who want to know more of our exotic adventure and wanna view our video clips, please PM me :P

3) Canaan came to Malaysia for a visit. Her sis came late last year and now its his turn to take a break. Sorry couldnt meet up much with him, but i did lure him to Stream a few times. And he sings quite well too! Eh bro, next time you are back i promise to bring you to other cafes ya!

4) CS found a new gal :) See CS, told you the car wash business will yield good returns haha!

5) My sis turned 21...hmmm

6) Gabriel's movie is on the big screen! Happy for him. Please go catch <Hidden Summer in My Heart> in GSC 1U and MidValley (International Screen)....support Malaysian movie :)

7) Xin Yan's album is coming out on 20.8.07 - AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!1 Ppl, trust me, you have to get a copy of the album....you will love her voice!

8) I have a feeling our futsal team is nearing the end of its lifetime...have cancellec way to many sessions lately due to non-quorum. Well, after 10 years, maybe its time to say goodbye....

9) The same is to be said bout my "singing career". I had one of the best times this past few months.... Jamming with some special talents really make it worth the while! However there are some disturbing news regarding the cafe which I shall not say much. But it will lead to my retirement soon....haha wonder whats life like without singing? sigh....

Ok thats all for now...really lazy to type any further. Will ocntinue when mood sets in again heh....

ciao!

nEXT TIME YOU THINK YOU HAVE A BAD DAY, THINK OF THIS GUY :)

Practically "stole" this from Amelyn's blog but I just had to share it :)It is even funnier when you realize it's real! Next time you have a bad day at work think of this poor guy and his poor a**-hole!

Rob is a commercial saturation diver for Global Divers in Louisiana . He performs underwater repairs on offshore drilling rigs.Below is an E-mail he sent to his sister. She then sent it to a radio station 103.2 on FM dial in Ft. Wayne , Indiana , who was sponsoring a worst job experience contest. Needless to say, she won.

Hi Sue,

Just another note from your bottom-dwelling brother. Last week I had a bad day at the office. I know you've been feeling down lately at work, so I thought I would share my dilemma with you to make you realize it's not so bad after all . Before I can tell you what happened to me, I first must bore you with a few technicalities of my job. As you know, my office lies at the bottom of the sea. I wear a suit to the office. It's a wet suit. This time of year the water is quite cool. So what we do to keep warm is this: We have a diesel powered industrial water heater. This $20,000 piece of equipment sucks the water out of the sea. It heats it to a delightful temperature. It then pumps it down to the diver through a garden hose, which is taped to the air hose. Now this sounds like a darn good plan, and I've used it several times with no complaints.

What I do, when I get to the bottom and start working, is take the hose and stuff it down the back of my wet suit. This floods my whole suit with warm water. It's like working in a jacuzzi.

Everything was going well until all of a sudden, my butt started to itch. So, of course, I scratched it. This only made things worse. Within a few seconds my butt started to burn. I pulled the hose out from my back, but the damage was done. In agony I realized what had happened.

The hot water machine had sucked up a jellyfish and pumped it into my suit. Now, since I don't have any hair on my back, the jellyfish couldn't stick to it. However, the crack of my butt was not as fortunate. When I scratched what I thought was an itch, I was actually grinding the jellyfish into the crack of my butt. I informed the dive supervisor of my dilemma over the communicator. His instructions were unclear due to the fact that he, along with five other divers, were all laughing hysterically. Needless to say I aborted the dive. I was instructed to make three agonizing in-water decompression stops totalling thirty-five minutes before I could reach the surface to begin my chamber dry decompression.

When I arrived at the surface, I was wearing nothing but my brass helmet. As I climbed out of the water, the medic, with tears of laughter running down his face, handed me a tube of cream and told me to rub it on my butt as soon as I got in the chamber. The cream put the fire out, but I couldn't poop for two days because my butt was swollen shut.

So, next time you're having a bad day at work, think about how much worse it would be if you had a jellyfish shoved up your butt.

Now repeat to yourself, "I love my job, I love my job, I love my job." Now whenever you have a bad day, ask yourself, is this a jellyfish bad day?

May you NEVER have a jellyfish bad day!!!!!

Ijok Beggar Chicken Makan Trip

Wow after a wait for more than 6 months, CHL finally decided to make good his promise and to treat us all to the famous Ijok beggar chicken for his promotion as an SLA.

Dsc04045

This makan thingy took an astonoshing 6 months to plan, mainly due to CHL's sudden inactiveness. Haha all this started 6 months ago when he started dating MM. Of cos as frens we do uderstand, that his priorities have shifted la hehe. Well, at least the makan trip was on, albeit bit later than expected haha.

Dsc04047 Dsc04043

Attendees were: me, CHL, MM, Lam Mama, Lam PaPa, ANN, Rubini, Tracy, David and Jilleen. 9 of us. Yup, 9. Rubini doesnt count as 1 when it comes to eating cos she rarely eats anything that is being served to her. Well, at least she pays for 1. Thats why she is in most of our makan trips haha.

Dsc04035 Dsc04040

Anyway CHL picked up ANN and RBM and we met at my place. Then all 5 cramped inside my little Don Diego and off we went to meet the Lams at Damansara Shell near Kayu Ara. After that met up with Tracy and David in Sg Buloh and there was no turning back after that. The journey from PJ to Ijok wasnt as far as expected. It took us slightly less than an hour, and this was partly due to a small pile up halfway through the journey which I was told was unusual. For a moment we thought it could be some quarantine of some sort as there was a outbreak (chicken flu N5R1) few weeks earlier.

Dsc04037

So there we were sharp at 730pm. The place was already fullly packed. Oh ya, forgot to mention that CHL had to pre-book this place about a wekk ago. It is advisable to book earlier -at least 2 days in advance. Oh, did I mention that this place is only opened for 3 days a week? Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 5pm onwards. Oh and they are usually open on public holidays as well.

Dsc04038 Dsc04039

And the menu is sort of "fixed". Once you arrive, just get a table and wait. A standard 9-course meal will be served. This would be enough for about 8-10 adults. It includes the Set Menu for 10 people and includes Glutinous rice with salted egg yolks, marinated pork and Chinese mushrooms; the "main dish ie Beggars Chicken stuffed with aromatic Chinese herbs, wrapped in aluminum foil, before being encased in clay and baked in a hot oven for 4 hours; the Beggars Duck - almost similar to the chicken, but with the addition of a different types of herbs with a brownish sauce; the Beggars Pork Trotters with chunks of yam; Steamed fish - fish was quite fresh; prawns - big and spicy; Kam Heong Crabs;  Green lettuce with oyster sauce and lastly Pork stomach soup with pepper. The chicken was a bit small though. But yummy nonetheless! But to be honest, it would have been perfect if the portion was bigger!

Surprisingly dinner ended very quickly - less than an hour. CHL paid the RM298, and some of us went to Stream after that.

Dsc04052

Next on the agenda - Banting Beggar Chicken which according to some "tastes" better. Anyone wanna join? :)

LETS ALL GET READY FOR THE TRANSFORMERS!

Yup, in a matter of weeks it should be in the local cinema, so guys and gals, get ready for the Transformer fever!

Just look at this guy - now this is what I call a FAN! Or a car? hehe...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Seriously, saw the preview of this movie, and wasnt exactly attracted. In fact, i find the "transformation" process abit fake...just like the robots from the Astro Stadium adverts. Just too "smooth". Maybe its the CG restrictions i guess. Maybe they should consult this dude above for more ideas on how to make realistic Transformer transformation :)

Those my age (yah those who lived through the 80's) will definitely know of this cartoon. Along with Thundercats, GI Joe, Voltron and MASKS, it was one of the more popular western cartoons that appeal to us kids then. "chi-ka-ku-ku-kak" - thats the sound we always make when playing with our toys. You didnt need a real Transformer toy. Just grab a small car model and pretend that it is transforming into some robot. Chi-ka-ku-kukak - everything can be a "transformer"! haha....

Just hope the movie doesnt dissapoint too much.....
